GMSC members are invited to a small work party on Saturday, July 11, at about 9 a.m. at Kiko’s Corner. The main job will be staking a silt fence as part of the preparation for a seawall extension and catch basin with a particulate filter.
This should be a short, practical work session, expected to take only a couple of hours. Members who can help are encouraged to bring work gloves, shovels, and picks. A wheelbarrow or two would also be useful.
Many members may remember similar work from last year, and this is another good opportunity to pitch in on a club project that helps maintain and improve the grounds. If time and temperature allow, there may be a few additional tasks to tackle while the group is together.
Refreshments will be available.
Please come out Saturday morning, lend a hand, and help keep GMSC moving forward. Every bit of help makes a difference.
