Grande Maumelle Sailing Club
April 18–19, 2026
Rules
The races will be governed by the rules as defined by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2025-2028, the Class Rules for each fleet, and these Sailing Instructions.
Eligibility
Open to active A and B fleet keelboats.
Boats from outside clubs with recognized PHRF ratings are welcome.
Out-of-town boats must submit their PHRF rating at or before registration.
Contact the registrar for assistance with ratings.
Low Water Notice
Lake Maumelle is currently experiencing lower than normal water levels.
The GMSC crane is only to place or remove bottom covers; the ramp is unusable.
Westrock Marina has a functioning ramp (includes $5 launch fee).
Consult race committee upon arrival for tie-up locations and hazards.
Southern Cove (D-Dock) has low water poles that must be observed.
Entry
Registration available online and in person on race day.
Advance notice requested for out-of-town competitors.
Pre-register at GMSC.org.
Registrar will coordinate Friday arrivals for gate access.
Fees
$35 per boat (includes Saturday dinner for up to 4 crew).
$10 per additional crew or guest.

Saturday, April 18:
• 11:00–11:30 Early towing (Westrock Marina)
• 11:30–12:00 Registration (Pavilion)
• 12:00 Competitors Meeting
• 12:30 Harbor Gun
• 1:00 First race (subsequent races follow)
• 6:00 Dinner & results
Sunday, April 19:
• 10:00 Harbor Gun
• 10:30 Racing begins
• No races after 2:00 PM
• Awards & snacks after racing
Sailing Instructions
Available at the Competitor’s Meeting and GMSC.org.
Up to six races planned; one throw-out after five races.

Awards for first and second place.

Camping at Maumelle Park (501-868-9477).
Camping/swimming at GMSC requires a permit.
Liability
Competitors participate at their own risk.
Organizers are not liable for damage, injury, or death.
