After-Race Socials: Hang Out, Warm Up, Toast the Day
When the sails are down and the boats are tucked in, the clubhouse comes alive for GMSC’s After-Race Socials. Held after each winter and spring Keelboat race, these gatherings are a time to relax, warm up by the fire, and enjoy good eats and snacks in great company.
We’ll celebrate the day’s racing with results announcements and a short, informal presentation on racing rules—always followed by easy conversation and shared stories around the fireplace. It’s a cozy clubhouse tradition that welcomes everyone—racers, crew, members, and guests alike.
If you’d like to host one of the socials, volunteer slots are available. It’s a fun, easy way to get involved and help keep our GMSC community spirit thriving.
